Hurricane Katrina Damage Claims must be filed by August 28, 2006.

Where to submit your claim

There are several ways you can report your claim to State Farm. In some neighborhoods, agents are on the ground speaking with policyholders directly and taking their claims. Alternatively, you can try contacting your specific agent by phone or in person to file a claim. If this is not an option, you can call 1-800-SF-CLAIM (1-800-732-5246), a number State Farm has set up with phone representatives who can take claim reports. Also, the claim process can be started by visiting State Farm’s website, www.statefarm.com.

State Farm has also created 29 catastrophe offices in storm-impacted areas of the Gulf States. Facilities in Louisiana and Mississippi are mobile and have satellite communications. As a victim, you can utilize any of these options to file your claim. The best option for you will likely be the most readily available during this time of crisis.
